What it's like to work here

Sierra Crest is owner-operated by Leo Grasso. You will be working alongside experienced climbers who care about the craft, on jobs that are genuinely interesting - big technical removals, defensible-space work in beautiful forests and storm response that actually helps people.

We run a tight, professional crew. We start on time, we keep our gear in great shape, we look out for one another and we leave every property cleaner than we found it. If that sounds like the kind of operation you want to be part of, we'd love to hear from you.

Open roles

We hire on an ongoing basis for climbers, experienced ground crew and equipment operators (chipper, dump truck, skid steer). We also consider apprentice-level positions for the right person with a serious interest in the trade.

Tree care training, TCIA training and relevant ANSI Z133 experience are all valued - but the most important qualifications are work ethic, attitude and a real interest in doing tree work the right way.
